English Speaking Workshop for Children from Rag Picker Families

The Ashirwad Foundation organized an English Speaking Workshop for children belonging to rag picker families living in slum areas. The primary objective of this initiative was to improve the communication skills, confidence, and personality development of underprivileged children through basic English learning and spoken English practice.

The workshop focused on helping children understand everyday English usage, vocabulary building, sentence formation, reading, and public speaking activities. Interactive learning methods such as group discussions, storytelling, games, and speaking exercises were conducted to make learning engaging and enjoyable for the students.

This initiative aimed to bridge the educational gap faced by children from economically weaker communities and encourage them to continue their education with confidence. The workshop also helped students improve self-expression and social interaction skills, preparing them for better educational and career opportunities in the future.
